This was my first newspaper which I published in Bowie, Maryland. I decided to try publishing since prior to this I had done practically everything in the printing industry, was trained as a Navy journalist, photographer and public relations specialist.
I wrote all of the copy, took all of the photos, and at first sold and designed all of the advertising, handled the production and distribution.
I had been working at a publishing company that produced two papers. Unfortunately, the recession of the day forced it out of business.
